gulf stream has redirected, aquatic populations are being decimated by
the inability to addapt to the new temperatures! Fishing is brought to a
halt. Worldwide famine occurs, as billions of people around the world
who depend on fishing to survive are unable to find a meal!

The
moon is thrown off it's orbit due to the change in mass distribution,
and it spirals downward, crashing just off the coast of China. The
resulting tidal wave wipes out 98% of land-based life, and the cloud of detritus that is thrown into the atmosphere blocks out the sun's light,
causing mass exntinction of sea-based life as well, due to the
disruption of the phytoplankton growth upon which the food web is based.
